The challenge
A U.S.-based international financial services firm based out of San Francisco needed a Smart Parking Management Solution for its Indian subsidiaries located in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai to ensure better parking space management for its employees.
Due to its considerable number of employees, identifying vacant spots at times of peak demand had emerged as a significant problem.
This also created challenges in the overall employee parking experience.
The Aastrotech approach
In order to solve these problems, AastroTech implemented its Smart Parking Solution that provided real-time visibility across all locations.
The solution enabled employees to quickly locate vacant parking spaces while helping facility teams optimize parking usage through centralized monitoring.
What we implemented
Real Time Parking Monitoring
Parking sensors monitor occupancy in individual parking bays and give live availability information.
Parking Guidance System
Displays at entrance of parking areas inform about available parking spaces in each floor so that staff members can park their vehicles without roaming around searching for parking space.
RFID-Based Access Control
Valid employees use RFID-based credentials to access parking spaces. The system verifies the credential and controls the boom barrier operation automatically.
ANPR-Based Vehicle Identification
ANPR cameras identify vehicles at entry and exit points and validate them against the authorized vehicle database.
Centralized Management
Facility staffs can control their employees, their fleet, parking allotment, and the RFID cards from the centralized dashboard, but they can also see parking availability and usage.
This straightforward process links the employee experience with facilities management, allowing for better utilization of parking space.
